We have never been to ABC Warehouse before and our fridge died so we went out shopping for one and stopped in to the store on Coliseum Blvd. They happened to have a good size that fit the space, and we purchased a fridge.

The salesman told us it would be 7 to 10 days. We thought that wasn't too bad for a fridge that we liked so we would have to live out of coolers and our freezer for that time. Needless to say when the 7 days were up and no word from them, we called. Of course that was 7 to 10 business days as well.

After several phone calls it turns out that they had 4 "commits" on 1 of that type of fridge that they were supposed to be getting the following Tuesday, which now brings us into 3 weeks. However, the salesman said he couldnt be certain that fridge would go to us since there were other commits, but he could try to find us a similar one that could be delivered that day. We go out on a Saturday and the fridge looked ok, but when we asked when we could get it, it would take another week! Turns out ABC Warehouse's warehouse is in Detroit!

We got a refund and left. We went out shopping again. We found a similar fridge and the first thing the salesman said was "that brand has had delivery issues for months. If you want that it may take 50 to 60 days!" Why is it that he knew this but not the people at ABC?

If they didn't know it, they are incompetent. If they knew it, they deceived us in order to make a sale.

The store we went to is locally owned and their warehouse is in town, so we only have to wait a few days more. I highly recommend avoiding A BS errr I mean ABC Warehouse unless you like wasting your time and money!

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Did not actually have the fridge at all.
